the goat is the silent sacrifice that fills tomorrow's place but until then today is the only day that they face with courage, knowing if they are going die let it be justified let the rest go until the next scape goat is fixed to a stake and a rope around their neck. they next may never know who they where until they live again. when the goats are shepherd to the next city one holds out his own beating heart openly to the world as it is pulled out of their chest. their day to die is their day given for the rest to live. and only a nights rest will bring happiness, for the next day is another day of sacrifice while they live.
